We just finished a landscape pavers installation in the backyard, laying out a winding path of large flagstones set in decomposed granite. The contrast between the cool gray stone and the warm brown gravel is really satisfying, and the texture feels great underfoot. We also edged it with low creeping thyme that should fill in nicely over the next season. It’s such a relief to finally have a solid, clean route to the garden beds instead of tracking mud through the house every time it rains.
